Children's Hour volunteers repainted 5 classroom corridor walls and 180 chairs at Dr. Celedonio Salvador Elementary School in Paco, Manila.
To kick off our Back to School Volunteer Activities this year, we had our 3rd #BrigadaEskwela repainting activity at Dr. Celedonio Salvador Elementary School in Paco, Manila. Dr. Celedonio Salvador ES is one of the oldest schools in the Manila area and its last renovation was back in 2009. It has a population of 1,600 students from kinder to grade 6. 42 Children's Hour Champions spent their Saturday morning braving the heat for the future of Filipino children. They were able to repaint 5 classroom corridor walls and 180 chairs! Now, the students will be starting the school year with fresh and newly painted learning spaces that will help them achieve more in life. Our paints were generously donated by our friends from Clean Makers Construction and Services. Make sure to follow our page for future volunteer activities. Share your time, talents, and treasures with our little ones in need! Thank you to our Children's Hour Champions!
