We are a fund raising, fund giving, and friends raising organization that supports projects on education, health & nutrition, and child welfare & development for Filipino children in need.

We do this by asking individuals, companies, and organizations to donate at least ONE HOUR of their annual salary or earnings once a year.

Our Vision

Our vision is to give the Filipino child the basic right to enjoy a happy, safe, and fulfilling future.

Our Mission

Our mission is to generate funds and friends nationwide by asking individuals, employees, companies, and organizations to donate at least one hour of their annual salary or earnings once a year, and to share their time and talent.

Children's hour began with a noble dream:

for every child to have a happy, safe, and fulfilling future.

Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Norhtern Ireland Tony Blair, Sir Richard Greenbury of Marks & Spencer, and the New Millenium Company started a fundraising campaign called Children's Promise.

Children's Promise had a vey simple proposition: each individual, employee, organization or corporation would donate the final hour of their pay to projects that would improve the lives of marginalized children. The idea and movement gained supporters and soon went global, with US-based International Youth Foundation (IYF) as its pioneer.

IYF member and top Philippine businessman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala soon brought the campaign to the Philippines in the 1990s. The Children's Hour campaign was originally housed under Ayala Foundation, but the influx of support from the local community called for an independent organization. Thus, Children's Hour Philippines was born in 1999.

Since then, Children's Hour has been working to raise funds, give grants, and make friends - all to improve and enrich the lives of Filipino children nationwide.
