At least 400 Cebuano children benefited from the half day medical and dental mission organized by Children’s Hour Cebu Steering Committee and Ayala Business Club Cebu, Inc. in partnership with the Cebu City Health Department (CCHD). The medical and dental mission in Barangay Ermita, Cebu City was held last November 19.

Two doctors and two dentists from CCHD joined the said mission while there were 50 volunteers from Ayala Business Club Cebu, and Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente who assisted the event. Free medicines from United Laboratory were also distributed to the children. While waiting for their turns, children enjoyed a storytelling session conducted by volunteers from Responsive Education for Autistic Children Center.

Meanwhile, Children’s Hour Cebu champion Ms. Mary Anne Solomon, together with Ms. Tina Bacalso and the Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente, led a breast cancer awareness activity for the mothers of the children who participated in the mission. The event was also supported by LBC Foundation, Virginia Foods, Suisse Cottage, Hapee toothpaste, and Nature Spring.
