Children's Hour Holds Successful Annual Benefit Lunch

It’s the most wonderful time of the year as the Philippines takes the happy reputation of having the longest Christmas across the globe. The festive and merry season is a reminder that Christmas is a celebration of love, family and blessings. Children’s Hour therefore found it fitting to extend the loving and happy mood with “Everyday It’s Christmas,” held at The Tents, Alphaland Southgate.

Children’s Hour ushered in the holidays with “Everyday It’s Christmas,” an annual benefit lunch that celebrates the generosity of people including donors, partners, volunteers and friends who were able to help Filipino children all year round. For a child beneficiary to experience this brand of generosity and kindness throughout the year, every single day is indeed Christmas.

The event, led by Children’s Hour Honorary Chairperson Elena “Ballsy” Aquino Cruz, showcased some of Children’s Hour’s banner projects and highlights this year that also served as the organization’s updates to its friends and donors. This also became as a venue to inform Children’s Hour shareholders of the projects being funded by the donations.

“Everyday It’s Christmas” featured two talented children’s choir to serenade the crowd. VOCE FICH, a professional Filipino-Chinese children’s choir, and San Juan Nepomuceno School Choir, a Children’s Hour beneficiary, performed Christmas carols that’s popular among Filipinos. No less than premiere balladeer and Children’s Hour Trustee Jose Mari Chan graced the event and sang his beloved songs from his bestselling Christmas album “Christmas in our Hearts”.
