| Batang Pilipino Ang Pag-asa Project Chosen As Beneficiary For HR ICON 2011 |

The Batang Pilipino Ang Pag-asa Project, a partnership between the Business Processing Association of the Philippines and Children’s Hour, has been chosen as the beneficiary of the recently concluded HR ICON 2011. The event is the biggest gathering of contact centers in the Philippines wherein representatives from various BPOs showcase their talents in singing and dancing. The organizers of the event, Human Resources Contact Centers (HRCC), PeopleSparx and the Business Processing Association of the Philippines have earmarked a portion of the proceeds for the project. The Batang Pilipino Ang Pag-asa project which aims to give disadvantaged youths training and mentoring for employment opportunities in the BPO industry.
