89-Year Old Artist Dedicates Art Show for Marginalized Children

 

89-year old artist, Ms. Elena Roces showcased her masterpieces through the GELENA Functional Art Exhibit at The Gallery, Greenbelt 5, last September 7 to 11, 2011. The art show featured Gelena’s (her artist name) useful and practical art collection such as doors, tables and other furniture. Children’s Hour has been chosen by Gelena as the sole beneficiary of her one-woman show. The exhibit was able to raise Ph 107,000 for Children’s Hour projects on arts and culture.
