The Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) formalized its partnership with Children’s Hour Philippines, Inc. through a signing of the memorandum of agreement between BPA/P Chair Alfredo I. Ayala and Children’s Hour Vice-Chair, Amb. Bienvenido A. Tan, Jr..

Children’s Hour is partnering with BPA/P’s Corporate Social Responsibility program for disadvantaged children and youth, the Batang Pilipino Ang Pag-asa project. This 2011, the project will focus on giving employment opportunities in the BPO-industry to out-of-school youths. The beneficiaries will be given technical and values formation trainings to prepare them for employment. The first batch of beneficiaries will start training this July 2011.

BPA/P-member companies are showing a united front with a number of BPOs already running the Children’s Hour campaign and numerous others pledging their support to help Children’s Hour “make the world a better place, one hour at a time.”
